Al-Sadd want to end the season on high-note

Al-Sadd enaged in the prime training session, Monday, at Jasim bin Hamad stadium in Al-Sadd, in preparation of the coming game against UAE side of Al-Wahda, in group C's 6th round of the AFC Champions League.

Al-Sadd is third in the group C, with 5 points in 5 games, one victory, 2 draws and 2 defeats. The squad wanted to end the season in high-note against the UAE side.

All reserve team players who are listed in the Asian competition attended the training as team coach Dr. Hassan Hurmatulla would filed most of the reserves like Khalifa Al-Ammari, Taher Zakari, Hammad Al-Shimari, Khalid Al-Hajari, Sultan Belal, Mohammed Abdelrab, Bakhit Al-Merri, Hassan al-Haidous, Tenorio, Abdullah Al-Shamlan, Meshaal Meqbel.

The coach gave special tuition to players including some tactical tricks particularly on how to better use right and left flanks.

Following the training, website met with Hassan Al-Haidous who have just won the budding player of the year prize in the Qatari league who expressed delight to have received such a prize. ""It would definitely give me a boost to start with next season"", he said adding he would do his best to find a standing the team's pecking order.

On another hand, Al-Wahda squad arrived on Monday morning for the Friday's clash. The star-studded squad would hunt the 3 points to keep in chase for a slot in the group.

The game will be led the Korean referee J.Young, compatriot assistant referee Young Su Kim, Bejnic Aleeidief, of Turkmenistan. 4th referee Mukhtar Al-Barimi, Yemen, and Fahad Abdullah.
